Australian Consumer Law — Your rights

Under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) you have guarantees when acquiring services and goods from Discoverperks. These guarantees include acceptable quality, fit for purpose, and services performed with due care and skill.

Terms of Service

The following summarises the principal Terms of Service that apply to bookings, course access and content usage at Discoverperks. Full terms apply at the time of purchase and are binding when you enrol.

Bookings are confirmed on payment. Cancellation by student more than 14 days before course: full refund minus admin fee. Cancellations inside 14 days may incur a reduced refund — see full terms below.

Course materials remain the intellectual property of Discoverperks. Personal use permitted; redistribution or commercial reuse is prohibited without written consent.

We may change schedules or trainers; where changes materially affect course outcome we will offer an alternative date or refund in line with ACL obligations.

Intellectual property & content use

All original course material, designs, templates and media produced by Discoverperks are protected by copyright. Students retain moral rights to their own work but grant Discoverperks a limited licence to display course outcomes for promotional and educational purposes.

  • Do not reproduce Discoverperks course manuals without permission.
  • Attribution required if we grant reuse permission.

Complaints & dispute resolution

If you are dissatisfied, please raise your concern promptly. We aim to resolve most issues internally within 10 business days.

  1. Informal: Contact support by phone or email with your details and order/reference if any.
  2. Formal: Submit a complaint via the form; we will acknowledge within 2 business days.
  3. Escalation: If unresolved, you can seek external dispute resolution (e.g. state consumer affairs or the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission).
